It's been to long!

This is my kitty, Scooter! She finds the funniest ways to rest!
A layout to commemorate a visit with my sister! her friend treated us to a "luncheon" at the country club! POSH!

Some Cosmo cricket cards done for a challenge at Scrap Central!

You have to look with a keen eye to see the transparency here! I used a rub-on on the top side of the transparency and punched an oval to go underneath the sentiment .... the heart button is placed on the topside to "hide" the adhesive.
the inner card was covered with cardstock and pattern paper with a ribbon on the bottom third, then placed a felt floral on the ribbon. i stamped flourishes on the fuscia corners and added the swirly clip to hold the transparency to the inner card!

My poor blog! I've neglected it for over a month and so much has happened! Christmas has come and gone, I welcomed the New Years in a quiet way this year! I havent felt well for a long time and things escalated to the point where I'm now on sick leave from work, but i have had a few good days so I know i'll have myself back again!

My friends at SCRAP CENTRAL ( http://www.scrapcentral.ca/ ) are having some interesting challenges: Scrap Map and also Scrap Challenge a Day and i must say there are some pretty interesting things happening over there! Go see!!!

Scrapfest is approaching soon! i cant wait to go. One of the Exhibitors has recently begun an on-line store and a forum! I had the pleasure of chatting back and forth with her and she had me in stitches! I love a person with a sense of humour! You can find Dianne at The House of Scraps here: http://www.houseofscraps.ca/
My blogaversary has come and gone and while i'm sorting and organizing my scrappy stuff i'm coming across a number of items still in packages which i will be raking off soon so keep coming back!

Yoo Hoo, it's UHU time!

I was pleased to have been given the chance to review the UHU Glue Roller! Along with the glue they sent me a clip-board! What a great opportunity for me as I have never altered a clip-board before!
I used My Minds Eye paper, misc flowers and ribbon, and Stickles! I'm pleased with my first clip-board project!
The Uhu Glue Roller is easy to use and the adhesive is SO clear! I'm thinking of doing a transparency project with it so please stay tuned to my blog!
The Uhu Glue Roller comes in Permanent, Repositionable and you can get the disposable type or the refillable! it's definately a " must - try "!

Some samples of what i have to offer during my annual Open House/Craft Sale! I love folk-art with it's versatility! It can be distressed, antiqued, sanded and embellished! Hmmmmm, sounds just like papercrafting!

My Share the Care candle sets!

A kind and generous fellow scrapbooker sent me an awesome K & Co paper pack and embellishments to make cards for Sick Kids Hospital! ( Thank you Judy! ) I brought the package to a crop I went to at a local Church and the six of us made these cards!

I love to share the joy i receive from scrapbooking and one way to do this is to make cards and pass them on!

These cards are all so beautifully done and i know they will be appreciated when they reach their destination!
I wish you all a stress free holiday planning leading up to the Big day!

O Christmas Stuff

This little cutie is 16 days old and scoots everywhere, she's such a sweetheart! i'm thinking of naming her Cosmo!
I made some naughty coal buckets using real coal from a mine in Minto, New Brunswick!

This outdoorsey wreath is actually an indoor wreath because of the woolie bow! There is a wood deer looking out and beside it is a bird nest, near the top right there is a mini-bark canoe and a wooden church hangs from the center top!

This wreath is predominately white with some splashes of red through-out! The iridescent snowflakes reflect the green from the wreath!

I've been working like crazy to get my Open house/Craft sale together! Somehow my "get-up-and-go" "got-up-and-went", lol!
I've scrapbooked once in two weeks ...... i went to The Scrapping Bug and took two classes hosted by Vicki Boutin! One was using the Sonama line from Scenic Route and the other was using The Kelly Pannacci line from Sandy Lion!
Here's a link to the blog for a peak at these awesome classes:
Hope your all having a great day!

A new Angel at The Rainbow Bridge

On Sunday I had to say goodbye to my dear little buddy, Chubb. I had her for 13 years and she was a few months shy of 20 years. She was a regular chatterbox and i didnt need an alarm clock, she let it be known that it was time to get up!
She loved to play in boxes! big or small she loved them all!
She didnt like water from a bowl on the floor so this was her usual mode of water, as well as the bathtub faucet! when i would run a bath she would hop up to the sink everytime and when i filled the sink she would paw the water, swish her tail in it, stare at her reflection and have a drink!
She didnt like the kitty pumpkin on her sink!
the snowmen invaded her chair at Christmas-time! she had her own tree, stocking, hat and scarf!

Goodbye my dear friend! you'll never be forgotten and i will always love and cherish you!
