Birthday Bash Challenge 2

The 2nd challenge for the Turtle Soup Birthday Bash required numbers. The picture is of my 6 year old grandson Sam who had lost everything due to a fire at his house. he was so happy to discover that his growth chart had been salvaged.

The living is easy!

I love altering stuff! I took some plain notebooks and added some oooomph to them.
These two notebooks were done for my nieces, they were a hit with them.
The flower is my first attempt at making my own version of the wrapped flower. i think it turned out pretty good!
Pretty in Pink!

Graphic 45! Love it! The cute metal embellishments were purchased from " The House of Scraps "!

Spring, A FreshStart

I caught Phoebe checking out my laptop.. Maybe she was looking for the power button!
I used an older kit to do this layout. It commemorates my friend and I at our yearly dog walks to raise funds for the Humane Society. Sadly though, her little poodle Bailey passed away recently. I will miss him dearly.
A layout of Scooter when she was younger, she's such a little cutie.
This layout was done using papers from Sassafrass called Cherry Delicious. Perfect choice for this layout of my neice, her husband and their two girls.
I love the brightness of these papers. So cheery! My sister and I were visiting my Dad, who is in a home with Alzeimers. He loves to go out for walks.
This is Scooter out on the balcony catching some fresh Spring air. She sure is a going concern!

Open House/Craft Sale

This year I put up my tree earlier than usual! It's definetly a cat magnet! I have to keep moving things further up, leaving the bottom branches a bit bare! Phoebe has her eye on a shimmery disco ball!

Scooter is a bit more brazen than her mother. It wouldnt surprise me to see her actually in the tree!

I made some altered binder clips and displayed some Christmas tags in them. They can be used for displaying photo's, memo's and business cards, etc.

These cute whisks would be perfect for a hostess gift or a cookie swap! We WHISK you a Merry Christmas!

A few years back I went to visit my sister in Steveston, BC! It snowed and it snowed! We ventured out on foot and everything was so pretty! Big fluffy flakes of snow were falling!

My 6th annual Open House is upon me right now. I enjoy coming up with new and unique ideas for the gift-giving season.
Thank you for stopping by and browsing my blog!
