Open House/Craft Sale

This year I put up my tree earlier than usual! It's definetly a cat magnet! I have to keep moving things further up, leaving the bottom branches a bit bare! Phoebe has her eye on a shimmery disco ball!

Scooter is a bit more brazen than her mother. It wouldnt surprise me to see her actually in the tree!

I made some altered binder clips and displayed some Christmas tags in them. They can be used for displaying photo's, memo's and business cards, etc.

These cute whisks would be perfect for a hostess gift or a cookie swap! We WHISK you a Merry Christmas!

A few years back I went to visit my sister in Steveston, BC! It snowed and it snowed! We ventured out on foot and everything was so pretty! Big fluffy flakes of snow were falling!

My 6th annual Open House is upon me right now. I enjoy coming up with new and unique ideas for the gift-giving season.
Thank you for stopping by and browsing my blog!

Crafts from the Attic: Snips and Snaps

Crafts from the Attic: Snips and Snaps: "This layout was created based on a challenge again at Scrapadilly! I guess no-one told Scooter that it's impolite to stick your tongue out..."

Snips and Snaps

This layout was created based on a challenge again at Scrapadilly!
I guess no-one told Scooter that it's impolite to stick your tongue out...lol!

A layout for a challenge at Birds Of A Feather Kit Co.. The challenge was " all about you" and scrapbooking and crops are all about me! birdsofafeatherkitco.com

Some folkart snowmen I painted for my upcoming Openhouse and Craft sale.

This little guy was a project to create as a challenge at Birds Of A Feather Kit Co.

Sometimes bad pictures don't seem too bad once they are scrapped! When i got my first digital camera I took all my dark and outside pics in the "night mode", not knowing a tripod was in order! I scrapped this for a challenge at Scrapadilly. http://scrapadilly.net/

Pretty in Pink

In 2005 I went to a co-worker and friend's wedding! Colleen's favorite color is pink and I think this layout does her wedding justice. I helped her set up by folding the napkins into a heart-shape for each setting. Her cake was a tower of wedge-shaped boxes filled with the yummiest of cake!

Fiskateers Card Challenge

I'm taking part in a weekly card challenge at Fiskars. Each week we are given a card to lift and we are currently at week 6. This is my take on the past weeks challenge. Just think, with a weekly committment to lift a card, before you know it I'll have 52 cards!

Happy Fall Y'all!!

Layout to commemorate my dad's 83rd birthday! He is a Navy Veteran and the Navy is celebrating 100 years. My dad is proud to have served in the Navy and I'm proud of him, too!

I fell in love with these "felties" my sister made! So perfect for Halloween coming up!

My two cats are so lovable. Here is Scooter and her mom Phoebe playing with cat toys my sister made with felt and catnip! They were an instant hit with my two fur-babies!

Summer has past us by, but the memories will remain! When I went to the Olympics I did a lot of sight-seeing with my sister. We took a water-taxi to granville island and on the way we passed a number of floating homes! I preserved the memory with the above layout!

Thank you all for dropping by!

This was a white embellishment box by " Making Memories ". I painted it with blue folk art paint, then used "BG Two Scoops papers and embellishments" I used stickles sporadically on the lid design and chalked around the edges with a dark blue ink.
The box and paper collection was made available by a wonderful daily deal site! Crop Chocolate offers many deals a day and i will give advanced warning......this Chocolate is truly addicting!Posted by Picasa
Don't forget to leave a comment here or at the post below to win a Rak!

Nikki Seville Rak

I think Nikki Seville is one of the "funnest" lines to come along in awhile. The packaging has the cutest quips; on the back of the chipboard it says ...... " Named after my friend Chip, who was always bored", on the brads it says ....."Brads. No relations to Steves." The buttons ..... "Burlap! excuse me" ... and on the 6 X 6 paddie it says "Small but mighty"

As promised I am offering this as a rak! All you need to do is post a comment, I will do the draw on Sunday August 22.

Good luck to all who enter!

It's been too long .......

This is the longest I've neglected my poor blog! When it rains it really does pour ......first my camera broke down, then my computor broke down, then i have some health issues i'm dealing with!

Just to update: I raised $100.00 selling my " Cards for Haiti "! I was so pleased with the response my cards generated!

I bought myself an awesome Toshiba Laptop, now i just have to figure out the ins and outs of it!

I also bought a new Sony digital camera so hopefully soon I can figure how to combine the two and start displaying my creations!

When that happens I will celebrate by offering an awesome RAK so stay tuned!
