Yoo Hoo, it's UHU time!

I was pleased to have been given the chance to review the UHU Glue Roller! Along with the glue they sent me a clip-board! What a great opportunity for me as I have never altered a clip-board before!
I used My Minds Eye paper, misc flowers and ribbon, and Stickles! I'm pleased with my first clip-board project!
The Uhu Glue Roller is easy to use and the adhesive is SO clear! I'm thinking of doing a transparency project with it so please stay tuned to my blog!
The Uhu Glue Roller comes in Permanent, Repositionable and you can get the disposable type or the refillable! it's definately a " must - try "!

Some samples of what i have to offer during my annual Open House/Craft Sale! I love folk-art with it's versatility! It can be distressed, antiqued, sanded and embellished! Hmmmmm, sounds just like papercrafting!

My Share the Care candle sets!

A kind and generous fellow scrapbooker sent me an awesome K & Co paper pack and embellishments to make cards for Sick Kids Hospital! ( Thank you Judy! ) I brought the package to a crop I went to at a local Church and the six of us made these cards!

I love to share the joy i receive from scrapbooking and one way to do this is to make cards and pass them on!

These cards are all so beautifully done and i know they will be appreciated when they reach their destination!
I wish you all a stress free holiday planning leading up to the Big day!

O Christmas Stuff

This little cutie is 16 days old and scoots everywhere, she's such a sweetheart! i'm thinking of naming her Cosmo!
I made some naughty coal buckets using real coal from a mine in Minto, New Brunswick!

This outdoorsey wreath is actually an indoor wreath because of the woolie bow! There is a wood deer looking out and beside it is a bird nest, near the top right there is a mini-bark canoe and a wooden church hangs from the center top!

This wreath is predominately white with some splashes of red through-out! The iridescent snowflakes reflect the green from the wreath!

I've been working like crazy to get my Open house/Craft sale together! Somehow my "get-up-and-go" "got-up-and-went", lol!
I've scrapbooked once in two weeks ...... i went to The Scrapping Bug and took two classes hosted by Vicki Boutin! One was using the Sonama line from Scenic Route and the other was using The Kelly Pannacci line from Sandy Lion!
Here's a link to the blog for a peak at these awesome classes:
Hope your all having a great day!

So Many Events

INTRODUCING: PHOEBE
This little sweetie was welcomed into my household after her owner met up with some unforseen unfortunate circumstances! it was so emotional; she had to part with her kitty, i just parted with my kitty, and phoebe had strange surroundings to get used to! phoebe will be having kittens so this will be interesting!

This project was done for a challenge at Scrap City! 3 envelopes, ribbon, some cardstock, scraps and embellishments. so fun and versatile!

Scrap city is having a "Pink Crop" this weekend and one of the challenges was "wear your pink", i had some help from two friends at work and i had my own Pink day! LOL

my friend Jennie took the pics and my friend Judy lent me the scarf! it was a fun morning!

A new Angel at The Rainbow Bridge

On Sunday I had to say goodbye to my dear little buddy, Chubb. I had her for 13 years and she was a few months shy of 20 years. She was a regular chatterbox and i didnt need an alarm clock, she let it be known that it was time to get up!
She loved to play in boxes! big or small she loved them all!
She didnt like water from a bowl on the floor so this was her usual mode of water, as well as the bathtub faucet! when i would run a bath she would hop up to the sink everytime and when i filled the sink she would paw the water, swish her tail in it, stare at her reflection and have a drink!
She didnt like the kitty pumpkin on her sink!
the snowmen invaded her chair at Christmas-time! she had her own tree, stocking, hat and scarf!

Goodbye my dear friend! you'll never be forgotten and i will always love and cherish you!

A new week and some new shouts!

My friend Bela from CROPPERSTIMEZONE frequently hosts Kards for Kids which members of her group participate in to donate the cards to TORONTO SICK KIDS HOSPITAL! These cards bring such joy to everyone! The kids have access to them so they can send a card to someone and the staff have access to them to add some joy to someones day!
Altered notebooks are great for taking notes and memos about medications etc! I crated the notebooks above and also some of the cards for Bela to take to SICK KIDS! I love the idea of giving joy to someone with something that brings me joy!
If you would like to be part of a down-to-earth group come over and say hello to Bela, myself and the other wonderful girls!
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cropperstimezone/

Many of the projects i do are done on the go! I bring something to do on the bus and on my breaks! The UHU glue stik comes in handy for this! It is small, portable and reliable! No worry of messes or spills! The cards and 4 small notebooks were done on the go and the UHU glue stik never let me down! I also recieved a sample of UHU TAC and discovered it is great for popping embelishments on cards! you can use as little as you want (no cutting of adhesives to make the sticky smaller) When making kards for the kids embellishments and small pieces cannot be added to the cards so I dont have a UHU TAC Embellished card to show at this time! UHU TAC is great to attach "works of art" to the fridge and to post reminders!
Wishing you all a happy scrappy day!

one more altered jar!

I was browsing for some ideas for an altered lunch-box and my journey brought me to this site called " some assembly required " (http://www.alter-nativefun.blogspot.com/ ! I didnt find a lunch-box but i did find a challenge for beads! I cant resist a challenge so i had to give in!

I handpicked the green and clear beads out of a jar of multicolored beads so i could adhere them to the chipboard scallop! The bottom pic is a close-up of how i accented one of the jar handles!
This was a fun project to do! I hope you will browse on over and take a look at some awesome work!
Have a happy scrappy day!

My lucky day!!

The crop at Scrapadilly was so fun and inspirational! The games and challenges were fun to do, not to mention the friendly bantering between the contestants!

I was lucky enough to win the second prize and i tote-ally love it!

One of the challenges was to "scraplift from someone in the gallery" and another was to create a shaped card! I did the reindeer card at a crop at The Scrapping Bug!

I love taking part in crops as they tend to take me beyond the "norm" of scrapbooking!

Glue with a twist!

Have you hugged your glue today??? lol !! My UHU Glue n Twist ( http://www.saunders-usa.com/uhu/ saved the day for me!

I was asked to make some treats that would fit in with a Canada Day special celebration!

Bobbi-lynn from Scrap Central ( http://www.scrapcentral.ca/ ) and her hubby Derek renewed their vows for their 13th Canada Day celebration!

I needed something that would hold the treats and a plain old box wouldn't do, so i crimped some cardboard to cover the sides and needed some sturdy glue to hold it all together!

UHU GLUE n TWIST to the rescue! A twist of the cap and you can spread a path of glue or twist back and you can apply a fine line or a dot! The pinwheels and flowers were applied with a dot of glue!

I made the cute little hearts with white bells in the center! I also made red mapleleafs, white maple leafs and chocolate mapleleafs and stacked them in little cello bags! i also made chocolate blossoms and twisted them with waxed candy wrap, and they resembled a Kiss or a Hug! i made them a chocolate greeting card as well! My chocolate factory is closed for the summer now! It's way to hot to create chocolate treats!
Wishing you all a Happy Summer! Any special plans?
