Crops, Raks and More

Happy Scrappy Day! On National Scrapbooking Day I went to an awesome crop at The Scrapping Bug ( http://www.thescrappingbug.com/xcart/home.php ) Catherine from Scrapbook and Cards Today ( http://www.scrapbookandcards.com/ ) dropped in and surprised us with awesome make n takes and everyone stopped cropping to have a chit-chat! Some girls had met for the first time but before you knew it we were all bantering back and forth!

I also did some on-line challenges and one of them was : why i scrapbook! the journalling for " People, Places and Things" reads as follows: everyone i have met, everywhere i've been and things that interest me have shaped who i am today. I hope by preserving these moments that i may inspire others to " Find Joy in the Little Things" and enjoy happiness always!

I also have developed a keen interest in Artist trading Cards ( ATC's)! The purple set featured here are for a swap from " fiskateers" and the theme was to create ATC's using the color purple! These 16 are for a swap! each one has variations in them so no 2 are exactly alike!

Now for the topic about Rak's!!! I love Rak's! I've received many over the months ( through swaps, challenges or the generosity of others!) I've been keeping the return address portion and noted " who, what, where and why" i recieved them! I have enough to put in a container and i will be doing random draws from time - to -time!! Today i pulled a random name and i will be sending a small rak to: Frankie!! ( http://makingmemoriesforyou.blogspot.com/ )

Watch my blog for an awesome Father's Day Rak coming up very shortly! I went somewhere last night after cropping and won a draw! ( more will be revealed lol ) It is geared towards the male gender!

wishing everyone a good day!

Was a fun crop that was, huh? I really enjoyed the day out. Didn't realize how much I needed it until I got home. :-)
